Who wouldn’t like to have more money? Everyone would love to have a little extra spending money at the end of the month, but few people can walk into their work and demand a raise.
Instead of trying to ask your boss for a raise, there are several ways that you can earn some more money without having to get a second job.
Thankfully, there are dozens and dozens of different ways that you can make money online without having to leave the comfort of your own home.
One of the most popular ways to earn money online is to participate in a survey site. Survey sites have gained a lot of popularity in the last several years. There are hundreds of different sites. Do a simple Google search, and you will be overwhelmed with all of the different options.
If you want to start completing surveys for money, it’s important that you find the best possible survey program for you.
Survey Downline is one program that I get a lot of questions about. This article is going to look at the survey site and outline any of the advantages and disadvantages of the survey site.

Getting Started With Survey Downline
Survey Downline was stabled back in 2009, which means they are not new to the block, but they are not the oldest survey site available either.
Survey Downline is operated by Precision Sample, LLC., and much like all of its competitors, it works with hundreds of companies to bring willing survey-takers to them.
They reward you for every survey that you complete, and the company gets the answers that they need for new products or to improve their brand.
When you first log onto their site (www.surveydownline.com), you’ll notice a view of things. The first thing is that it looks a little dated.
They have a clean and basic look, but it doesn’t look like they have updated the website to a modern look recently. Aside from looking a little out-of-date, they have a clean and straightforward design. You won’t be bombarded with a dozen different options or buttons.
If you decide that you want to sign up for the program, it’s going to be very easy to join. On their main page, you will see the signup form. All that you have to do is provide basic information, like your name, email, and physical mailing address.
Additionally, you will need to give them your birthday, gender, and your race. They are going to use all of that information to determine which surveys you will qualify for. The companies that provide the surveys are only concerned with their target audience.
The questions on the sign-up form are going to determine which surveys you get invited to.
There are a few restrictions on who can sign up for Survey Downline. Only legal residents of Canada, the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom can become members. Everyone outside of those countries will have to look elsewhere if they want to join a survey site.
As long as you are 18 years old and reside in one of those countries, then you qualify for Survey Downline. It’s as easy as that.
After you’ve completed the registration process, which should only take a couple of minutes, you will need to answer a few household questions. That’s Survey Downline’s way of gathering more information about you to tailor the survey invitations that you get.
Those questions will weed out some of the surveys that you don’t qualify for based on the number of people in your home or the products that you do or don’t use.
Making Money With Survey Downline
Now that you’ve finished creating your account, you’re ready to start making some money on the site. Just like the registration process, it’s easy to start and finish their surveys.
Much like their competitors, you will get an invitation for a survey, you will need to answer a few basic questions to ensure that you qualify, and then you will be required to finish the whole survey to get credit.
The amount of money that you make for a survey is going to depend on how long it is. With Survey Downline, you can make anywhere from $0.10 to $20. The website claims that you actually receive a 35% share of what the program earns when you complete a survey.
Obviously, the largest payouts are going to require a lot more work than the shorter ones. Compared to other survey sites, these payouts are pretty average.
There are some companies that will give you more for your time, but it could vary drastically depending on the type of surveys that you get from Survey Downline.
Most users claim that the majority of the surveys pay out around $2 – $4, which is a good bit higher than other programs, but that is going to change person-by-person.
Another way that you can earn money with the program is to recruit some of your friends and family to join the program as well.
They have an excellent referral program that isn’t offered by a lot of the other survey sites on the market. You’ll earn 10% of every survey that your friend recruits if they join the program through you.
Additionally, you will earn 5% from every survey of any friends that your friend recruits.
If you become a consistent member of the program, there is a chance that you will get invited to a focus group, which can pay as much as $100.
These focus groups are more involved than a traditional survey, but the payout is going to reflect the extra work. The work of the focus group is going to vary depending on the product or company that is the focus of the group.
There are no guarantees that you will get invited to participate in one of these, but if you do, they are well worth your time. In some cases, these focus groups will take several days or work. It isn’t difficult work, but it can be time-consuming.
Complaints About Survey Downline
One of the most common complaints about Survey Downline is a complaint that just about every survey site has: not enough surveys. If you do any research on survey sites, you won’t find one that doesn’t have at least a couple of people with complaints about the frequency of the survey invitations.
It’s impossible for me to say if there are any grounds for these complaints because every person is going to qualify for a different amount of surveys.
Another complaint with the program is how often they pay out their members through PayPal. They only offer payouts every 1st and 15th of every month. While this is not a deal-breaker, it can be annoying to have to wait to get your money.
Additionally, you’ll need to rack up at least $20 before you can request a payout from the company. This is an average threshold for the majority of survey sites that you’ll find. There are a few companies that have lower requirements, but $20 is the norm.
One thing that you will notice about Survey Downline, which a lot of members have complaints about, is their limited number of payout options.
Best Survey Sites
The most important thing to note about Survey Downline is that it’s 100% legit. Sure, it may not be the best survey site on the market, but they are not out to scam you out of money or steal your information.
The program doesn’t cost anything to join, and you can create an account in a matter of minutes, which means it’s worth giving it a shot. If you decide that you don’t like it, you haven’t lost anything other than a couple of minutes of your time.
If Survey Downline doesn’t work for you, I’ve got you covered. Instead of having to spend hours creating different survey accounts, I’ve reviewed dozens of different options.
Check out my Best Survey Sites page. Over there, I’ve explained the different sites and outlined the advantages of each of them. I’ve done all of the dirty work for you, you can thank me later.
